Cora – Special-Needs

Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue Welcomes Special-Needs Cora

Special-needs Weimaraner Cora entering TPWR program

This summer has been busy for the volunteers and dogs of Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue.  We value all of our supporters very much! While we try to keep all of you up-to-date, our volunteers prioritize caring for the dogs in our program and welcoming those who need rescue.

Please help us welcome our newest member of rescue, Cora.  Cora came in  with emergent medical needs as she has numerous large tumors all over her chest and neck.  Cora was listed for euthanasia at a partner shelter in California with no local assistance.  When our volunteers arrived to meet her, they were struck by love and affection from Cora.

While there is a good chance that at least some of Cora’s tumors are cancerous, our focus is to give her the best quality of life as well as comfort and love while she is in this world.  Therefore, Cora is currently undergoing veterinary testing to determine what surgery could help save her life or at least make the time that she has left the most comfortable.  Our veterinary bills are extensive and we appreciate any and all support to help cover them; no amount is too small and all donations are tax-deductible.

We appreciate all of your support so much and we will keep you informed on how Cora is doing.  Thank you!
